Research on the Factors of Brain Glioma Recurrence and the Approach of Prevention and Treatment with Traditional Chinese Medicine

  • Brain glioma is one of the most common primary malignant tumors in the brain. With the advancement of novel chemotherapy and biotherapy, the therapeutic efficacy has been improved to some extent. However, the recurrence of malignant glioma still faces challenges, such as the scarcity of new treatments and the absence of standardized prevention and treatment protocols, highlighting its refractoriness. This article discusses the factors contributing to brain glioma recurrence and proposes strategies for preventing and treating glioma recurrence using traditional Chinese medicine, aiming to provide a better prognosis for patients with brain glioma.
